Inspiration

Inspiration

I love finding inspirations from a lot of aspects of my life, but some of my favorite sources of inspiration is making my own flower arrangements. Flowers have so many patterns, colors, and shapes. I also enjoy looking at my college art books, magazines and photography. My brain works in blocks of shape, dimension, geometry, pattern

Symmetry is very important to me in all aspects of design even in an organic/abstract work.
I appreciate balance, layers & textures.
Brush strokes used over and over again I can create unique patterns.

Space & Environment

Space & Environment

Space & environment: A crucial aspect to our lives! I believe this can apply to everyone- environments play such a large role in what we do everyday. A dedicated space with a specifically curated environment will keep you inspired and will help you keep focused in your craft.

Prior to getting my studio, it felt like I wasn't really growing as an artist because I was limited by space. Since I set up my studio, I’ve been able to dedicate space to my paints, canvas and tools to maximize my ability to create. This new space has allowed me to focus on what I love to do most- Paint! I never have to worry about cleaning up when I leave, instead when I come back the next day I can start right back where I left off.

I sincerely believe that having a dedicated work space has given me the opportunity to grow as an artist and improve my work!

Commissioned Art Work

Commissioned Art Work

When commissioning an artwork one of the first steps is to decide what you want the art piece to be based. For instance, some clients want a piece to fit a specific environment in the home or corporate setting. Interior designers may commission art that fits in the color scheme of their project. While Corporate clients might want to “brand” the piece with corporate colors, to complement their visual identity. Other times, people want a more personalized art piece, for example, by implementing a landscape, or something else that carries a personal meaning.

If you are not sure about what you want, contact me with any questions you may have. I will show you my portfolio and help you clarify the ideas. Once we have decided the subject matter, you’d be asked to sign a written contract. Having a written contract containing the details of the commission is important to make sure we are all on the same page! For more details email me today.
